ELEGIBLE PLAYERS

Participation in the tournament is open to all players on a "first-come, first-served" basis. U.S. Players must be members of the United States Billiard Association (USBA), non-U.S. players must be members of a recognized National billiard federation. To reserve a place in the tournament, participants must submit an entry fee of $450.00 Dollars. Other currencies are not accepted. Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, wire transfer or pay pal. Payments to Pay Pal may include American Express, Visa, Discover or Master Card.


TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Qualification Round : Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
10 Groups of 8 - 25 Point matches - The first (3) places of each group advance to the SemiFinals round. For a total of 30 Qualifiers.

Semifinals: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Include a total of 40 players. 30 advancing from the Qualifying Round +5 Seeds +3 Auction winners and 2 lotto winners.
5 Groups of 8 - Round Robin to 35 Points
4 from each flight advance to the Final Round.


FINALS: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
(Following the Semifinal Round)

This round has two categories. The top 10 Semifinalists advance to the "A" final; the next 10 to the "B" final. Both groups play round-robin. The "B" group plays to 35 points. "A" group plays to 40 points.


Total Prizes $80,000.00*
(Based on 80 players)

*The total prize fund is based on 96 players. The tournament organizers guarantee a minimum of $80,000 Dollars if the 96 players field is not completed. In this case, the prizes will be pro-rated in accordance to the following table.

For US Residents: Applicable income taxes will be deducted from the above prizes schedule. You can avoid witholding taxes on your prize money by filling out Form W-9 of the Internal Revenue Service (W-9 will be available at the tournament).

For Non-US Residents: Applicable income taxes will be deducted from the above prizes schedule. Witholding taxes may be avoided provided (a) your country has a tax treaty with the United States, (b) you have an "Individual Taxpayer Identification Number" from the IRS and (c) your prize money does not exceed the maximum amount that is exempt from witholding under the treaty.

All participants can enter the tournament venue during the complete tournament at no charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY

As long as space is available, players who submit their $450.00 entry fee in full will gain entry to the tournament. They are also guaranteed a full (100%) refund (minus transaction fees), provided the request is submitted to the Tournament Director (Charlie Brown) no later than July 7, 2007. After this date, refunds will be paid only if substitute players can be recruited to enter the tournament.

WAITING LIST

Once the 80 places available in the Qualifications are fully subscribed, the tournament organizers will continue to accept requests for a Waiting List on a first-come, first-served basis. No deposits will be required to have one's name placed on the Waiting List and no name will be placed on the Waiting List until all 80 available places have been filled.


Upon learning of a cancellation, the organizers will contact the first name on the Waiting List. That person will then have seven days to submit his/her entry fee. If he/she fails to do so, his/her name will be dropped to the bottom of the Waiting List. Immediate payment will be required for any substitute entries after July 21, 2007.
